Primer Emulsion Containing an SBS Polymer Modified Bitumen Base
SAMIprime K2/P is a specially prepared primer emulsion containing an SBS polymer modified bitumen base. It is designed as a prime for use on concrete and is ideally suited for use in enclosed areas, such as tunnels, due to its emulsified form.
SAMIprime K2/P penetrates the fine pores of concrete between 0.5mm-1.0mm deep, depending on the porosity of the surface, filling them with a residual deposit of rubber. The carrier is also designed to penetrate and bind excess lime or cement in concrete surface layers.
